Philosophy

Wissahickon Boys Lacrosse Club (WBLC) is committed to stressing the basic fundamentals of lacrosse to our players.  We want our players to appreciate the finer points of the game and strive to improve every day.  We demand that our kids treat their coachees, teammates, opponents, and officials with respect.  Our #1 goal is for our kids to have fun, improve, and want to return the following year.  With approximately 90% retention, we feel proud that our kids are having a positive experience!

Attending practice is very important.  Lacrosse is a game of repetition.  At the higher levels, there are plays involved that require knowledge and quick thinking.  If your child is not attending practice, we may deem it necessary to minimize game action if we feel there is a safety issue.
